The eCitizen Foundation is currently conducting a research and development initiative to create an open source and open standards based Patient ID Service. This research has been funded by the Open ID Foundation of Japan and the Kantara Initiative, and we encourage all interested parties to join our collaborator on this research, the Kantara Initiative Healthcare Identity Assurance WG.
